CoachCertified™ System Catalyst

cat·a·lyst ( kat ' l-ist ) n. A substance, usually used in small amounts, that increases the rate of a reaction without being consumed in the process.

What People Are Saying:

“The CCS system has allowed me to understand and experience the importance of attention management, clarity and focus on goals and more importantly, on results and self-knowledge. It was exceptionally valuable to have Eric Stern as my CCS coach during my 13 week journey. It was no by any means an easy journey. I realized how much I interfered with the achievement of my goals. How my thoughts, beliefs, and value system sometimes worked against me in achieving the results I want and how difficult it is to try to change. My coach helped me to identify issues and challenged me to listen, observe, discern, and reach out. He also tested my assumptions and through his questioning helped me to discover and consider more effective ways to take action and modify my internal dialogue. The support provided by having a Sponsor, specifically Mike Jay, accelerated this developmental journey. I am adopting the CCS system as part of my planning and executing process. I am not as yet proficient in this system, I am just stating to understand it. Practice will help me to get better at it.”

Thanks Mike for such a valuable tool and your support.

Thank you Eric for been with me in the coaching space and facilitating my development.

Once a person decides that path-finding is the key, there are a number of ways in which to address the unfolding. A way that works is the CCS Catalyst™. This program combines the CoachCertified™ System Structure with the CPR System Design Formula in several structured phases.
  1. PHASE I: The Abyss and a Journal
Phase I begins with the creation of an assessment portfolio which is administered online:
  • Learning Styles Inventory
  • Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode
  • Reiss Profile of Core Desires
  • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Step II
  • iWAM Metaprograms
  • Big Five Traits Assessment
  • Proscan Profile

-At times, the enneagram is made available.

A portfolio page is created for quick reference | Sample

Once the portfolio page is created, an assessment overview video is created to explain larger patterns and cross validation of the tools.

Optional Assessments for extra fees with purchase of coaching package only*

  • SOI: Subject/Object Interview | $600
  • CIP: Complexity of Information Processing | $500
  • LDP: Leadership Development Profile | $450
  • MHC: Model of Hierarchical Complexity | $350
  • LRMA: Lectical Model of Development | $350
  • During the assessment process which usually takes about two weeks, the participant is asked to interview and select 1 coach from 2-3 CCS Approved Coaches, or coaches that have background in similar systems compared to their personal or organizational climate. (6 facets of climate are clarity, commitment, responsibility, standards, rewards, flexibility.)
  • The program officially kicks off with a "reading" given by Mike R. Jay, Developmentalist as his interpretation of what the assessment portfolio emerges in the form of a path. This session is done prior to the "zero" session used to surface your path.
  • Additional interpretations of the other optional assessments may also accompany the debrief of assessments, or may be done in an advanced session.
  • Begin your journal by starting a daily record if possible of what you are thinking, feeling, being, doing, having and becoming as a result of this process. Keep as detailed a notes as you wish, but make an entry every day, even if it's one line.
  1. PHASE II: Meeting the Oracle (w/sponsor)
Once the Portfolio is completed and the coach is selected* in the PHASE I of the catalyst, then we begin PHASE II CCS/CPR Design Process with a session "zero", or what is called a Talking ISIS. ISIS is short for Integrated Strategic Intention System.
  • Session #0: Identifies the specific objective, or path that will be accomplished in the 13-week CCS System. This objective can be as large or as small as it needs to be. We seek to identify 4 specific strategic directions: internal, external, financial and developmental, their key success factors, goals and tasks in very specific measurable terms during a 45 minute interactive format.
  • Scorecarding Session #0: A sample scorecard format here | Video
  • Prior to that session, the client is asked to complete a Coaching Information Form along with an orientation to the CCS System Interaction Standards. This states in specific terms what is expected from the participant during the 13-week interaction.

* Some people may prefer to reverse the order and complete the Coaching Information Form prior to coach selection and even share that information with coaches they interview. It's optional.

Sessions are recorded and made available/distributed to participants
